Daisy is her name and she's totally adorable.
My wife and I do cat and kitten rescue, so we've seen just about every personality type imaginable when it comes to cats. Some of our cats need a lot of attention and others would prefer to be left entirely alone (mostly). One thing is for sure, though. Even our most aloof cat, a feral rescue who is impossible to re-home, loves it on the rare occasion when we're petting him. The strange thing is that he seems to crave touch because the minute we pick him up, he starts purring. However, catching him is a challenge. He is genuinely feral and has been for all of the years we've had him.
We don't even want to re-home him, ever. We love him just as he is. When we first found him, he was a tiny kitten and we felt sure he would eventually come around, but he never did. He's nearly as feral now as he was on that first day when he bit my wife. He was just so terrified. These days, if he's lying with other cats relaxing, he allows us to pet him as much as we want, within reason. He's gotten to where now he will even come up to us if other cats are around us and let us pet him. As I said, he purrs and obviously craves touch. It's just hard for him to let his guard down to find the love he wants so badly.
The little kitten in the video below is a cat who is completely spoiled already and very high need. If she's not constantly being held or loved on, she meows until she gets touched again. She's obviously training her humans very well and that is well noted in the comments by YouTube users. A lot of the comments also note that the man is very attractive and they'd cry if he quit touching them, too. We do have some cats who aren't happy unless they're being held, but we don't have any who are this demanding.
But if we did, they would no doubt get all of the pets they want. Watch this adorable video below.
