Sharknado fans looking for something different might enjoy Arachnado, a new film featuring a spider-filled tornado.
If 2020 were a Hollywood script, it would end up in the trash because not even the most imaginative producer could ever envision a year this crazy. And to cap off what has been one of the most insane years in modern history, we will soon be treated to a movie about a tornado filled with creepy, crawly spiders — because nothing else can surprise us this year, right? Well, Directory Ferguson, the man behind the hit cult-favorite "Angry Asian Murder Hornets," brings us a brand new straight-to-home release that will no doubt appeal to low-budget horror fans who love movies like Sharknado.
While details about the film's plot haven't been released, the new trailer gives us a good idea of what to expect, and here's a hint — it's not an Oscar nomination. Instead, much like Sharkado, the movie seems to show an ordinary day in America suddenly turns into an Arachnid nightmare as a tornado carrying huge, fuzzy, crawly, biting spiders descend upon what looks to be Los Angeles. The creepy trailer starts with an ominously cheery weather announcement on the radio concerning cyclones and then goes to show giant black spiders dropping from the sky like hailstones.
The cast of this disasterpiece features an all-star b-movie cast such as Deborah Dutch (Hard to Die), Mel Novak (Bruce Lee's Game of Death), Shawn C. Phillips (Ghost Shark), Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre).
Viewers will also be treated to guest appearances from stars such as Jennifer Nangle (Malvolia: The Queen of Screams), Sheri Davis (Angry Asian Murder Hornets), Cali June (Monster Force Zero), Mike Ferguson (Death Squad), and Albie Robles (Stickman).
Aracnado will descend into homes this Thanksgiving. You can watch the skin-crawling trailer below.
